Add support to the ndo_fcoe_ddp_target() to allow the Intel 82599 device to also provide DDP offload capability when the upper FCoE protocol stack is operating as a target. Signed-off-by:

A HW limitation was recently discovered where the last buffer in a DDP offload cannot be a full buffer size in length. Fix the issue with a work around by adding another buffer with size = 1. Signed-off-by:

The FCoE offload is enabled/disabled per adapter, but upper FCoE protocol stack could have multiple FCoE instances created on the same physical network interface, e.g., FCoE on multiple VLAN interfaces on the same physical network interface. In this case we want to turn on FCoE offload at the first request from ndo_fcoe_enable() but only turn off FCoE offload at the very last call to ndo_fcoe_disable(). This is fixed by adding a refcnt in the per adapter FCoE structure and tear down FCoE offload when refcnt decrements to zero. Signed-off-by:

Add support for dcbnl_rtnl_ops.setapp/getapp to set or get the current user priority bitmap for the given application protocol. Currently, 82599 only supports setapp/getapp for Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol. Signed-off-by:

This adds infrastructure code for FCoE Rx side offload feature to 82599, which provides large receive offload for FCoE by Direct Data Placement (DDP). The ixgbe_fcoe_ddp_get() and ixgbe_fcoe_ddp_put() pair corresponds to the netdev support to FCoE by the function pointers provided in net_device_ops as ndo_fcoe_ddp_setup and ndo_fcoe_ddp_done. The implementation of these in ixgbe is shown in the next patch. Signed-off-by:

This adds the FCoE feature header ixgbe_fcoe.h to 82599. This header includes the defines and structures required by the ixgbe driver to support various offload features in 82599 for Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). These offloads features include Fiber Channel CRC calculation, FCoE SOF/EOF auto insertion, FCoE Sequence Offload (FSO) for large send, and Direct Data Placement (DDP) for large receive. Implement support for a SUN-specific PHY. SUN provides a modified 82597-based board with their own PHY that works with very little modification to the code. This patch implements this new PHY which is identified by the subvendor device ID. The device ID of the adapter remains the same. Signed-off-by:

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
