Fix interswitch LAN nodes - we used to only be able to handle

interswitch links if both nodes were connected to the switches, as
opposed to being the switches themsevles.

While I'm was in there, removed the '#ifdef FIX_SHARED_INTERFACES',
since that's a bugfix, and there's no reason to turn it off.
