Random nits with new Emulab interface
Based on a few hours of steady use and converting old experiments
- The topo renderings via jacks are actually worse than the old renderer. Any of the whacky experiments like daMesh, daSnake, PrettyBigUn or routetest, tend to "fold over" themselves with lots of crossing links, where the old one laid them out pretty well.
- I have had a couple of cases where a little hover pop up didn't go away. One that seems to consistently do it is "Stop Linktest". If I start a linktest and then go hover over the resulting "Stop" button, "Stop a running or wedged linktest" pops up. If I move away, it disappears. If I instead click on it, it is there to stay. I can collapse the experiment box and reopen it, and it is still there. Click on it, nothing, it just sits there glaring at me. I also had a case where I was anally trying to fix up my topology in the "Topology View" by dragging things around. Many times when I click on a node to drag it somewhere, the action menu pops up. Most of the time it goes away, but one of them has become a permanent feature. This one might be a little different in that, when I change tabs from topoview to list view or something else, that menu stays in place; i.e., it is there all the time, not just when I am in the topo view tab.
- Every single link I import winds up with the "!" constraint warning: "This LAN has a default link type that may fail. Try setting the link type."
