Bringing up the Clemson IBM Power nodes
Who does this and when?
There is going to be some significant work involved here.
First order of business is the MFSes. We will have to use Linux-based MFSes since I doubt FreeBSD runs on these. Probably use the hack approach I used for the ARM nodes: admin MFS is just an NFS mounted root filesystem and the frisbee MFS is just a hacked Linux initramfs.
Speaking of frisbee, I am pretty sure frisbee won't work if these machines are big-endian. We never considered endian-ness in our protocol. tmcc, syncd and other homebrew protocols might offer up some surprises as well.
I figure this would take me 2-4 weeks assuming the boot path of these nodes don't offer up any other surprises.
