Instructions for patching your 6.3-RELEASE based system to 6.3-RELEASE-p3.
This assumes that you are running a 6.3-RELEASE kernel and binaries and
have a /usr/src tree that came straight off of the release CD.
Do the following as root:
cp FreeBSD-6.3.patch /tmp
cd /usr
patch -p1 < /tmp/FreeBSD-6.3.patch
cd /usr/src/secure/lib/libssh
make obj && make depend && make && make install
cd /usr/src/secure/usr.sbin/sshd
make obj && make depend && make && make install
cd /usr/src/lib/bind
make obj && make depend && make && make install
cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/named
make obj && make depend && make && make install
cd /usr/src
make buildkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC
make installkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC
shutdown -r now
