Change to elabman handling, to setup an account that we can use for · d7f33445

helping remote sites setup and update.

      * Added a V2 (DSA) key to the install directory that us inserted into
the pubkeys table for the elabman. This key is encrypted and stored in
        /root/.ssh/elabman_dsa on Utah's boss.

      * elabman now starts out as webonly=0,status='active' with a real
shell on both boss and ops.

      * freeze/thaw user now treat elabman as special, giving elabman a real
account on boss and ops when thawed.

      * Addeda "notes" entry to the user profile that indicates the account
can be frozen once the remote emulab is up and running.

The packagedir is now passed to {ops,boss}-install with a -p argument instead of
as a PKG_PATH envar. If the old way is done, PKG_PATH is ignored and packages are
all built from sources. This failed in many ways (due to sync problems between the
6.1 packages and ports tarballs?) In any case, to prevent others falling down the
same rabbit-hole, building from sources is now off by default, requiring a -s
argument to be given to do it. Libinstall now shows PhaseSkip reasons, to make
it more clear what's going on.

Also tweak dhcpd_makeconf to handle a null DHCPD_DYNRANGE in the defs file,
to prevent a bogus dhcpd response from an inner emulab, half set-up for testing.

Two-day boondoggle to support "/scratch", an optional large, shared filesystem
for users. To do this, I needed to find all the instances where /proj is used
and behave accordingly. The boondoggle part was the decision to gather up all
the hardwired instances of shared directory names ("/proj", "/users", etc.)
so that they are set in a common place (via unexposed configure variables).
      This is a boondoggle because:

      1. I didn't change the client-side scripts. They need a different mechanism
(e.g., tmcd) to get the info, configure is the wrong way.

      2. Even if I had done #1 it is likely--no, certain--that something would
fail if you tried to rename "/proj" to be "/mike". These names are just
         too ingrained.

      3. We may not even use "/scratch" as it turns out.

Note, I also didn't fix any of the .html documentation. Anyway, it is done.
To maintain my illusion in the future you should:

Add patch to modify Mysql.pm to allow setting the "InactiveDestroy" in
the underlying DB handle. Also avoid disconnecting the file handle
explistly on DESTROY as that will be taken care of in the DESTROY
method for the the DB handle.

Override perl version of fork() to set InactiveDestroy in all open
database handles in the child so that it won't send a disconnect when
the handle is destroyed as this will also close the database handle
for the parent. It will also call tblog_new_child_process in the
child process to properly inform tblog of the new process. This will
be a NoOp if the libtblog module is not loaded.

      * Add mailman to the install process. This includes the package
install, all the setup needed in ops-install, and the little patches
        we apply locally.

Note: Only under 6.0: no point in going backwards since its a pain
in the ass to build these packages for the 4.10 image.

      * Push more of the package install back down into the ops/boss install
scripts. This improves testing within those scripts, and avoids
duplication. There are some changes in rc.mkelab that will temp
mount the package dir on /packages for the benefit of the scripts.

The Emulab Knowledge Base! · 6f08c442

Okay, I implemented a primitive Knowledge Base! The current contents are
*all* the existing FAQ entries, which I entered manually. Here are the
      details.

      * My reason for doing this is that we need something very simple. The wiki
is too much of a barrier, and its search capabilities are pathetic.

      * The search page for the Knowledge Base is:

      	https://www.emulab.net/kb-search.php3

Fairly primitive keyword search. Turns out that mysql 4.0 has a bunch for
really good text searching functions built in, but we run 3.23 ... so I
had to roll it myself. So, its a simple keyword (space or comma
        separated) search, no regular expressions.

      * Each DB record has a "faq_entry" flag, so creating the current FAQ on the
fly from the DB is easy. See:

      	https://www.emulab.net/kb-faq.php3

      * In reddot mode, you can add new KB entries:

      	https://www.emulab.net/kb-manage.php3

The form is fairly obvious but here are details anyway:
