an IP:/foo pattern, just like netboot and netdisk take. This gets
split into the IP and pathname part and returned separately in the
bootwhat structure.

table for a default path, when the def_boot_path field of the nodes
table is null. This allows people to set just the OSID for a node, and
not worry about where it is. Clever, eh?

is implemented in netdisk (command line mode). If netdisk succeeds,
it will send an ACK packet to bootinfo which causes it to clear the
next_boot_path field in the database so that the next reboot falls
back to def_boot.
